It is stressful enough with all the clues, riddles, puzzles and locks to be worried about a zombie. The Zombie is what made this game! I have never been so terrified in my life. The room is so well done, it is based in the 1950's and you literally feel like you have gone back in time. He is an essential part of the game and makes it so much fun. He is there to not give you clues but to perhaps subtly guide you at times and give you a baseline for the house. As you enter the main room you are greeted by the caretaker of the house. One thing I did notice which was awesome (especially for gaming and zombie fans) is that the first room contains an element which is similar to Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Zombies which was very cool. 2.The first room starts out with trying to find keys to unlock the door to the main room. Once you enter you have 60 minutes to complete it and if you don't. They then give you one clue to start the game. You gather as a group and they give you the rules (no cell phones allowed, no taking apart electrical sockets, moving big furniture etc.) You watch a short introductory video which is simple and well done. As we were sitting waiting all we could hear were screams coming from the other room.
and so far no one had completed the Zombie room that day. ZOMBIES ROOM I kept hearing about this "Great Escape Room." I went for a friends birthday and we had a group of 6 total. I can't wait for them to add additional rooms. IF you are hesitating about whether or not to do it, just do it. Which is awesome, cause I will be able to talk her into doing another one.yes!! Also, if you are stuck in a room with people you don't know.there are plenty of puzzles to keep lots of people trying to figure out different things, which was really appreciated as there was a bossy one in our group that was trying to dictate everything, but we were able to work as a team, while all of us still being involved in one way or another. We had two 13 year olds with us and even though one of them isn't much into games, they too enjoyed this. The new Resident Evil 7 game has an escape room in the game and you have to figure it out and this was just as fun as that one.minus the creepiness factor. Otherwise, we might not have figured it out.
You definitely need to work as a team and while the people we were placed with, were a bit inebriated, they still managed to help out. I was a bit nervous that we might be grouped with some people that were wearing perfume (due to allergies), but we lucked out. We went to The Great Escape Houdini Room to celebrate my birthday.
